Doreck joined SAG at eight years old and was later selected into the highly competitive acting conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts alongside a generation of young performers who wouldgo on to win Tony, Emmy, and Academy Awards. He continued extensively in acting, voice, speech, dance, fencing, stage combat, and even Krav Maga, developing the cultivated physicality and cross-disciplinary versatility that have become hallmarks of his work.
Deeply inspired by the versatile stars of classic Hollywood, Doreck is also an accomplished singer, songwriter, and dancer who has worked with artists and choreographers ranging from Debbie Allen to Wade Robson. A devoted collector of vintage vinyl records with a particular love of 90s R&B, he can often be found tending the “Certified Wildlife Habitat” he created at his Los Angeles home, or searching for great donuts.
